The
ripe period to visit Kurseong would be :-
1) March - May : The visibility at this period
of season is crystal clear. Viewers get dazzled
when they find first sight of the mighty
monarch "MT. KANCHENJUNGA".
2) May - mid June : This period of time displays
an enchanting and marvellous sight with the
first showers kissing the green earth.
3) September - December : Though Kurseong is
situated at high altitude but it always offers
an enjoyable climate unlike chilly winters of
Darjeeling. The best view of the mountains with
lush green medows and ravines resemble Swiss
Alps.

4) CHIMNEY : During the British rule in india,
the British had constructed a huge chimney at
the place and that' show the name got
established. The chimney constructed by the
Britishers still stands and marks the place.
Freash vegetables are also grown here whrch is
supplied and sold not only in Kurseong but also
in Darjeeling.
